Mail, Terminal and TextEdit in one group — the demo switches tabs by itself, or click one.

Grouped in three seconds

No layouts to configure, no profiles to set up. Grouping is a gesture.

STEP 1
Release to Group
Drag one window onto another
Hold for half a second and a blue outline says it's ready. Release, and they're a group.
STEP 2
G
…or pick from a list
One shortcut opens the picker. Select any open windows — from any apps — and group them.
STEP 3
+
Work the tabs
Click to switch, drag to reorder, drag out to detach. ⌃Tab cycles, ⌘1–9 jumps straight to a tab.

Tabs that behave like tabs

Everything you already expect from browser tabs, working across your whole desktop.

M >_
Any apps, mixed freely
A group isn't limited to one app. Xcode next to Terminal next to Safari — whatever belongs together.
See before you switch
Hover an inactive tab for a live preview of the window behind it — refreshed while you look.

Tab groups, in the strip
Collapse a run of tabs into a labeled chip — browser-style groups for your desktop windows.
new ✦
Automatic grouping
New windows from a grouped app can join the group the moment they open. Rules decide which.

The title bar works for you
Right-click any grouped window's title bar for group actions — switch, add, detach, ungroup.
